- To mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic there was a cruise set to sail on April 1o,2012 traveling the same route that the original ship traveled. They traveled from New York to Halifax and back to New York. On April 15th the date of the sinking the ship will had reached the exact location to where the Titanic lays on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. At 2:30 am there was a memorial service held for the passengers and crew members that lost their lives on April, 15, 1912.
